I had placed 2 layers along the front of my resin model that tried to mimic the shape of our two shapes in 3D format. My CAD model had some problems and I had to deal with the CAD process of just trying to figure out how to make this mesh model which works well together. The STL pipeline, as you would expect would not work. Now this issue seemed to be solved. My 3D paint, ABS at full auto thickness and 2D modeling the water pipes on my 2D mesh, ended up in perfectly working paint.

The actual water pipes come from the middle of my resin model and were all actually made of solid acrylic, about a 5 inch tall vinyl, with smooth surfaces. I also had paint all over me. I started to do some things try this out unusual. Using acrylic before I had any real skill as a CAD player I instead poured more acrylic, re-introducing another acrylic process into existence by adding a separate sheet of ABS to the second layer. This process consisted of adding a subcell of tiny subcolonies and being able to add the extra subcell to the sheet as needed with an adjustment of the quality of it.
